7v7, two 25-minute halves
Field exactly 7 at kick-off on a 45×65 yd pitch. Size 5 ball. Unlimited subs from the center line, on the fly.
Cima Soccer League was built on a simple idea: adults in northwest Las Vegas deserve a place to play real, organized soccer close to home — a 7v7 league open to all players with a competitive drive.
Where the name comes from.
We serve the communities of Aliante, Skye Canyon, Kyle Canyon, and Summerlin — the neighborhoods tucked against the base of Mount Charleston, where “Cima” — summit — gets its name.
Just like the mountain that watches over this side of the valley, we wanted to build something that gives this community a peak of its own to work toward — a season to train for, a team to show up for, and a trophy to chase.
Las Vegas isn't short on soccer leagues — it's short on order.
Most players here have seen leagues with abundance and no order: too many teams, not enough structure, schedules that fall apart by week three. What the northwest didn't have was a league built specifically for it — one that understood the neighborhoods, showed up in person, and treated players like more than a registration fee. We started Cima because we believe adult soccer should feel like your league, not a franchise operation running the same format in every city.
That means real fields close to where you live. A schedule that respects your time. A rulebook that's fair and transparent. And a game day experience — from check-in to the final whistle — built by people who actually play and love the game, not by a faceless system.
A real league, done properly.
Cima is a 20-week season: a full round-robin schedule followed by playoffs, giving every team a real shot at the summit. We've kept registration straightforward and accessible, with discounts for founding players and early sign-ups, because we want this league to grow with the community, not gatekeep it.
Beyond the games, we're building the infrastructure of a real league — proper scheduling, heat-smart game day operations for Vegas summers, sponsorship partnerships with local health and wellness businesses, and a player experience that feels organized and professional from the moment you register.
Freebie 7s — our soft-launch tournament — gives players their first taste of what Cima is about: competitive, well-run, community-first soccer, before the first full season even begins. The name says it all: free to play, no catch.
By this community, for this community.
Cima Soccer League is run by people from this community, for this community. We're not trying to be everywhere — we're trying to be here, done right. Every team that steps onto the field, every sponsor that partners with us, and every player who registers is helping build something that didn't exist in northwest Las Vegas before.
This is just the base camp. The climb is just getting started.
Cima Soccer League is a Grassroot Events LLC company.
